Valor for Change is adamant on taking an intersectional approach to our work for LGBTQ+ students and alumni. We want to hold the Valor Community accountable for all of the ways in which it has harmed students over the last decade. This includes discriminatory policies, attitudes, and abusive behaviors based on gender, race/ethnicity, economic status, and ability. We acknowledge that all of these various identities impact access to opportunity. We acknowledge the way that Valor has played a role in that, either overtly or covertly through its curriculum, and its treatment of marginalized students.

We are Valor for ALL Change. We denounce all hate and bigotry and make it our mission to create change in a way that does not perpetuate this type of culture in, and outside of Valor.
